Calling in the World to Come
Letterpress & Risograph Posters & Prints solicited by The Press at Colorado College, December 2024-February 2025
The posters and prints featured in this show display a range of responses to the current state of our country. From the election of Trump for a second term, to support for Trans, immigrant, and other targeted communities, these artists from Colorado and around the U.S. use the medium of print to convey their thoughts and feelings about the world we live in and the world we are collectively building.
The prints collected here are the result of a nationwide open call as well as open print days at The Press. All relevant submissions were accepted, as all voices and levels of print experience deserve to be heard.
Posters and prints are for sale on a 100% donation basis to selected local and national organizations dealing with social justice, support for marginalized communities, voting rights, or other related topics. If you are interested in purchasing a poster, please click on it for more information. Posters that are currently in the show will be shipped after March 11th. (Shipping is free for now unless otherwise indicated. If you’re local, you can arrange to pick it up.)
To see these posters and prints in person, please visit Fleming Gallery on the west side of Robson Arena at Colorado College in Colorado Springs. The gallery is on Tejon Street just south of E. Cache La Poudre Street; paid parking is available. The physical show will be up from February 16th through March 11th, 2025, but the virtual exhibition will stay up indefinitely.
