From the colophon:
“This book is the work of many hands, and it gives me great joy to have collaborated with such utterly talented professionals in its creation. Thanks to Dave Wolverton who scanned the original Klipper negatives and assisted with the digital printing. Eleanor Annand provided essential design counsel and illustration. The slipcases were made here at the college out of salvaged weatherboards sourced by Dallas Rolnick from his rebuilding efforts in New Orleans, with production assistance from Andy Tirado. Pamela Leutz was instrumental in making the design of the book actually work. Thanks go to students Jody Joyner, Rachael Dewitt, Emma Mitchell, Madeline Frost, Conor Blanchet and Geneva Sills for their various invaluable production assistance along the way. Special thanks to Kathleen Frazer for her push when things looked overwhelming.
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone here at the college who has given tremendous effort over the years to sustaining The Press at Colorado College and continuing to support its missions of teaching and production.
A City As Once Seen was designed by Colin Frazer. It was case bound in silk and paper, and the housing is a unique box made of reclaimed siding from flooded New Orleans houses. The giclee´ prints were done here at The Press on Hahnemuhle Velvet Duo paper. The type was set in Archer and was letterpress printed on a Vandercook Universal III in the Spring of 2009.
Of 40 numbered copies, this is number…”
